Also has a couch to 5K program and syncs up with Spotify and other music apps so that you can listen to your own music during breaks in the story.

It’s a little pricey at $60 a year, but they do offer a free trial and the app’s high ratings suggest that most people agree that the price is worth it for those services.

My Fitness Pal has been on the market for years because it works! There is a free version that allows you to just track your calories, but the paid version is where this app really shines. The paid version unlocks the ability to track your nutrition by protein, fat and carbs. It also gives you the option to automatically track the calories you lose during your workouts. When you first sign up, it will walk you through setting nutrition and workout goals for you and your lifestyle. It then generates workouts and recipes to help you meet those goals!

You get access to all of this for free. Yes I said free! The app is completely free and there is absolutely no pressure to upgrade to a ‘pro’ version.

All of these features are included in the free version. For $7 a month you can access even more premium workouts as well as more stats. This app is the perfect choice for people who are weight training or trying to target very specific goals.
